Paper Salad Bowls: Formats, Lids and Portion Planning
Six round salad bowl models from 500 to 1300 ml — low-profile formats, matching lids, and how to plan portions.
A salad bowl works when the portion fits the depth. Deep bowls bury a small salad; shallow bowls spill a large one. BECOPACK's round salad bowl range runs six models from 500 ml to 1300 ml with matching paper lids. Specifications are indicative and subject to final written confirmation; this is a selection guide, not a quotation.
The six models
Model | Capacity | Top (mm) | Base (mm) | Height (mm) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
BC-SL-500 | 500 ml | 150 | 130 | 45 |
BC-SL-750 | 750 ml | 150 | 130 | 60 |
BC-SL-900 | 900 ml | 185 | 162 | 50 |
BC-SL-1000 | 1000 ml | 150 | 130 | 75 |
BC-SL-1100 | 1100 ml | 165 | 145 | 70 |
BC-SL-1300 | 1300 ml | 185 | 160 | 65 |
The table shows the format logic: two top diameters (150 mm and 185 mm) carry different capacities by changing height, and the 185 mm top opens the format into wide, low-profile serving bowls.
Match the bowl to the salad
Grain-based and heavy salads need depth to hold dressing without spilling — pick 60 mm height or more. Leaf salads and plated starters present better in a wide, low bowl where the top diameter, not the volume, frames the food. For delivery, pair the bowl with a matching lid and check the closed stack height against the bag.
Confirm before ordering
Quote the model reference, confirm the lid fit for the exact model, and approve the sample before production. Coating options and board colour are confirmed per application. See the full salad bowl range and model table.
